IDK, I thought that it was quite original, I read it for what it was, poking a bit of fun at the Thunberg Doom seeker.Try reading through the rest of the comments calling her a “ poison dwarf “ or “ doom mongering hobbit “ unless of course that stretches your intelligence too far. A difference of opinion is completely acceptable, name calling and conducting your argument like a knuckle dragging numpty is both embarrassing and negatively detracts from any sensible argument that can be made. Again Teenage girl given a podium to ask the world to change their fuel/ plastic pollution vs fully grown adult man spitting his dummy out and instead of aiming energy at the supposed puppet masters decides to insult a young girl and her appearance.. Proud moment there chap![]()
The issue I draw with her is that she watched one misleading greenpeace video and now wants to save a world that doesn't need saving.
If she really wants to do some good, then she needs to go to China and protest as China is responsible for 54% of world emissions of carbon and pollution.
However, she won't, prefers to tell the west to do more when the west has done its bit, its the rest of the world that she needs to be tackling and see what kind of response she gets. I can tell you in some countries she'd be run out the country, in others, she'd be stoned and not in the hippy way and others given the bum's rush and told to take a hike.
I don't agree with her claims one bit, she still has the right to protest but a real protest and not the fakery that she has been playing at since she hit the limelight. Even her school strike was fake given that her school had no requirement for her to attend like normal schools. If she was to get properly educated to understand how the earth works and how the suns solar output affects the earth and gained a fuller understanding of those immutable facts about how the real world works, she might see how she has been had over by a false piece of climate change propaganda.
I fear though that it would be too much for her to grasp the concept of.
