Where is Greta?

A lot of people comming across as very bitter against an autistic young woman trying to make a difference here. How many here have tried to make a difference with similar effort? Even if you believe her wrong the vitriol expressed by some is saying more about them than her. Blaming an autistic person for focussing excessively on a subject is akin to blaming a wheelchair user for sitting down.

Young peope are often passionate about things. Her autism will amplify that. Better to have the next generation willing to work for their view than sat on their ps5.
 
She's white, so does it count as racism if our coloured brethren make disparaging remarks about her? What has her autism got to do with anything. 🤷‍♂️

It has to do with the mocking that she is subjected to. Disagree with her if you choose but mocking an autistic person for their focus is disability shaming. It is easier to do that with invisible impairments than visible ones.

She is being mocked for what she stands for, not because of her affliction. It wouldn't matter if she didn't have any afflictions or what colour she was, she'd still be mocked. I take it you don't like stand up comedians either as they mock the afflicted mercilessly on some occasions.
 
I appreciate it's not her autism that's the direct reason for the mockery but it is the indirect one. I would hope that those without autism could understand the intensity of her belief is because of her disability and cut her some slack because of it. In addition why does anybody need to mock someone for adopting a position that has the support of all but a handful of scientists? (Cue the dissagreement with even that statement). Disagree with her if you will but accept her intensity is a product of her condition. She can no more dial it down than a legless person can stand. I would also hope those who believe she is a puppet would direct their ire at her handlers rather than the victim of that control. Alas they appear an infrequent target. It's easier to hit the wrong one.

When she travells to the most polluting countries and spouts her boll0x then my respect will go to her and her team.
 
I wonder if she's taking note of how much fuel NATO is wasting pointlessly circling B52 bombers over the Baltic, not to mention the fuel tankers supplying them. I don't suppose that's of interest to her for some strange reason.

You'll only see the weather potato when Soros decides it's time to wheel her out to serve HIS agenda. I feel sorry for the poor kid, she has been manipulated with her parents (antifa supporters) full knowledge.
 
Didn't state we will be wiped out in 5 years but that we will be wiped out if we don't stop using fossil fuels in 5 years. ie the extinction can occur long after 5 years. A rather massive difference. I suspect most of the conspiracy brigade never read it sufficiently to notice what it said. There's not enough light down the hole to read that well.
Whilst I don't agree with the timescale it's pretty obvious my kids are going to have to make big adaptations over their lives.
