Where is Greta?

Only if they submit to the constant brainwashing that's constantly spewing forth. 😉
Anecdotes, opinions and declarations are not the way it works; deconstructing the data sets embedded in the peer reviewed research thus exposing flaws in the arguments presented is the way to go; good luck with that :)

Will the real Greta Thunberg please stand up....providing you pull the right strings. ;)

" The Science is settled" Al Gore 2013............. Science is never settled It is, by definition, an ever-evolving body of human knowledge, and climate science is exactly like all the other sciences in that way.

Consensus has absolutely nothing to do with science. Galileo Galilei is one of the ones to prove that. He was the only one who was right. The "consensus" scientists were all wrong; It was Galileo Galiliei who said the earth revolved around the sun. While the science of the day insisted the earth was stationary and the sun revolved around the earth.

..............................................................................
Galileo was interrogated while threatened with physical torture.[51] A panel of theologians, consisting of Melchior Inchofer, Agostino Oreggi and Zaccaria Pasqualigo, reported on the Dialogue. Their opinions were strongly argued in favour of the view that the Dialogue taught the Copernican theory.[57]

Galileo was found guilty, and the sentence of the Inquisition, issued on 22 June 1633,[58] was in three essential parts:

Galileo was found "vehemently suspect of heresy", namely of having held the opinions that the Sun lies motionless at the centre of the universe, that the Earth is not at its centre and moves, and that one may hold and defend an opinion as probable after it has been declared contrary to Holy Scripture. He was required to "abjure, curse, and detest" those opinions.[59]

He was sentenced to formal imprisonment at the pleasure of the Inquisition.[60] On the following day this was commuted to house arrest, which he remained under for the rest of his life.

His offending Dialogue was banned; and in an action not announced at the trial, publication of any of his works was forbidden, including any he might write in the future.[61]

As you pointed out yourself, the consensus against Galileo was not of science but of the church. In other words the scientist was correct and men of belief were wrong. A poor example to pick as it makes the opposite point.

five weeks so 50% off good behaviour 2.5 weeks time spent obeying courts and turning up equals free ride to nearest to bus stop and fare back home should have been sentenced more

But if it is classed as a criminal offence, the ramifications will be with him for a long time ( insurance declarations etc.)
