Ive a contract to to remove some unwanted animals after dark and lamping isn’t an option. And since Christmas I’ve been milling over digital day night scopes it’s not me but needs must….. So a friend lent me a Hikmicro Alpex and he even put it on the rifle and zeroed ready to go. But instantly I the field I noticed how heavy it made the rifle, especially as I’m not a static shooter so I kind of shelved the job.
But I needed to get it sorted so I’d convinced myself to an Alpex, do the job and sell it. Went into the local to buy one and the owner and got talking about the job and the weight of the scope. He said go thermal and you’ve already got the Hikmicro spotter, the menu is identical apart from the extra zero functions.
Thermal was never on the list, but in my hand the Hikmicro 3.0 was super light. Looked though it wow incredible clarity and user friendly. Went in for digital walked out with thermal. I’ve had it 3 weeks and money well spent as it’s doing the job nicely, but I think I’ll be keeping it.
