The pistol looks pretty perfectly aligned horizontally for those two shots, but the majority of the shots show really good vertical alignment, so I'd count the ungrouped shots as fliers. I try not to concentrate too much on individual shots but on the card overall, and on this card I'd say it's mostly really good grouping, but shooting too far to the left. If I carried on with similar groupings I'd adjust the sights and get some amazing scores. (In real life, I find I'm not that consistent and I might group well to the left on one card and the on the right on my next card, which is probably mostly down to me, but possibly down to the plastic sights on the PP800R not staying put very well.)Somewhere between the two shots highlighted is a X. Knowing nothing about pistol shooting they have to be better than the ones off to the left as they show the pistol must have been held perfectly aligned when the shots were taken.
Is my thinking correct?
