Cracking warranty with them , I just think he bit sceptical of the quality of the image , but that’s good shout to contact local shop

Pound for pound, (considering it’s a higher spec for very low clearance cost), there will be no disappointment.

I’ve used mine for a few trips to permissions and each time I am absolutely satisfied with the quality of image at various distances.
I’m currently using it as a spotter, having removed the scope mount it came with; eventually it will work its way on top of one of my Edgun Leshiy’s.
The reticle options are very good and clear, I like the small red dot in the middle of one type in particular.

The only thing to consider is to buy a supply of rechargeable batteries as I’ve noticed after a couple of hours switched on / used for scanning, they can get exhausted quickly.
I just take another set in the bag and if necessary, swap over if the session goes on a bit longer.

We will test the unit for the technical issues you listed and, if you do not mind, update the community with our findings. It may be helpful to others.
Please ask the reviewer who experienced the issue to bring it up, If we do not know about a problem, we cannot help resolve it.
This also made me think about the negative TripAdvisor reviews I have left in the past when I was unhappy. There is often another side to the story.

The unit was reset upon arrival, and no issues were detected.

Regarding the packaging concerns, I believe the £399 thermal unit was packaged adequately. However, we could perhaps spend an additional £20 on improved packaging, and it would still be the cheapest thermal unit on the market.
