I have acquired and used the Nordforce - very happy with the unit - especially given the price and a full 3yr warranty on registration.
Same unit as me Chums - paid 800 pre-owned last year!

IO (Vlad?) provided swift helpful replies to my questions and queries, including follow ups to ensure answer were helpful!

I recently purchased one of these units.

It’s absolutely fantastic - I removed the mount it came with, (currently used as a spotter at one of my permissions).

I might use this one on my Leshiy, or maybe buy another…

I wouldn’t bother with the regular batteries as they don’t last very long.
I invested in these rechargeables via Amazon as I read somewhere, (I think it might have been from the manufacturer), they were a good type to use.

If you do use them, remember to update the settings to tell the unit they are 3.7 V as opposed to 3.0 V on the regular set up.
There’s an option just to flick between the two so it will recognise which ones are fitted.

I’ve been using it regularly as a spotter since purchasing it a short while ago.

The next plan is to sit it on one of my Leshiy Classics, I reckon it will be extremely good once I’ve learned how to zero it in correctly.

I might have a go at some kind of video review if I feel confident in doing so..

In the meantime, I wouldn’t hang about as @Immersive Optics Ltd only have a certain stock left.
My shooting pal bought one after I showed him the spec; he is a very happy customer.

At a guess, I would say 50% longer..
I bought two pairs that I take out with me..

The last trip to a permission only used half the energy of the installed batteries - it was a 2.5 hour session of constant spotting.
It’s nice to have a charged up backup pair though.

I suspect the colder months will be hard on the energy so having spares will be important.

Hi, Reading about this unit used as a spotter with interest. A question.
Is there anyway of attaching a neck lanyard to the unit please? A camera type 1/4 UNC or anything that could be used with it?

What's the range on getting positive ID on quarry ?
What's the image like as well.

I plan to get one this Friday. Just wanted to see an independent video before.
But I guess if I don't get on with it I can always send it back..

I’ve used it at near 100 yards and everything is clear.
You can also zoom in and quickly refocus to sharpen up the image.
I know it’s capable of further but I’m only interested sub12 airgun distances for now.

Put it this way, it’s the sort of spec that you would normally pay over £1000 - it does not disappoint..

I’ve got a ATN thermal spotter that I bought a few years ago for nearly £800 and it’s very poor compared to this one.

I’ve just had a look and I can’t see any lanyard attaching points, but I dare say you could rig something up, that might do the job. ?

It also comes with a scope mount which might be used to attach something to - but then it will be too heavy and defeat the whole point of it being a spotter.

It's apparently identical to the Hik Thunder TH35 C..
I bought a Hik Lynx LE10 3.0 this Monday, got it delivered yesterday and sent it back today. See pic.
It was bloody awful TBH. Could just about recognise a human being at 100 yards, but it could have been anything to be honest. Never again...The minimum I'll get is a 380 sensor. I'm actually pist off I got rid of my Hik Lynx LH15. That was a nice bit of kit ?

That's not bad to be honest. I've just sent back my Hik LE10 3.0 today... It was bloody awful. Could just about recognise a Human at 50 yards, but if you see more than 2 or 3 people together, it looks like a Cow or Horse......, a Candle would have provided better detail
