Excellent, thanks! I'd prefer dovetail, mostly because I don't like the sound of securing a rail with a grub screw, I'd be worried about scoring the dovetail.

I shoot with a airmax wa 8-32x50 currently which serves a purpose but the hw100x deserves more I think.

Doesn't need securing with a grub screw. 5 side grub screws & 1 front and Rear side ones, secure it so no marks on the dove tail from above, hence why I done it, the obviously the mounts clamp too...confirmed, no movement THEN scope off n on doesn't damage the X's rail

Ive now put a few hundred pellets through my .20 X .its living up to expectations. It’s as accurate as anything else I have conditions accepted and I’ve got sight marks out to 80 yds now. Barrel was dirty and I gave it a good clean before a proper session. So far it’s been very windy every time Ive shot it. However Ive found the JSB exacts 13.73g seem to be spot on shooting between wind gusts. H&N Baracuda FT seem very tight loading and I don’t think the groups are as tight. However let the testing continue tomorrow! Someone’s got to do it
Im not sure how many shots im getting cos I get carried away but it’s good.
Got an element helix 6-24x50 FFP that I think suits it but it could easily justify a bigger scope.
