New DNT Zulus tubed 4K scope

It's a difficult thing to satisfy everybody's requests for footage. People live in different parts of the country, on any one day the lighting is different so won't produce a video that shows off a scopes potential. Then prospective buyers compare a video that's taken late spring to a winter video from another scope. That's why what @Varminter is saying it's best if you are really interested to try and get out there yourself

We can try our best to get side by side videos but that is reliant on kind owners or dealers providing equipment for us to do it.
I'm not in a position to go out and buy an Alpex 4k or any other scope people want to see, so I can have it on hand just to do side by side videos.

Ii managed to arrange a Night vision thermal night last week where I had on display all of DNT's products along with one or two Hik products. The evening was a write off as it rained so much you couldn't see a thing and any time we turned on the IR all we saw was flash back. The Thermal was just a disaster.

Cheers

Billy

Have modified my throw lever for the Zulus 4K, I'm very happy with it now, improved profile fit and the finish.
I have just put an advert in the Optics sales pages, titled.

Zulus 4K Throw Lever - push fit.

Link to sales page

Made 10 as a single run to keep cost down. each one has been checked on my scope for fit (its the best way I can think of for confirmation of fit).

To tag onto that, a lot of YouTubers seem to be loaned stuff to ‘review’ or buy things and send them back, so have access to this stuff without spending their own money, or are in the retailer/manufacturers pocket.
Never take anything as gospel, with anyone associated with any brands products on youtube.. .Rule No1 ..

Yesterday my DNT 4K was arivered. What a very good scope did they make. I have also the alpex lite but the dnt is a big class better then the alpex. Much sharper view, a smoother turretwiel, Good structure for the menu, solid mounts, bigger battery's much and much better oculair relief en view. All i can say it a very good scope!! I give the DNT 4K zulus a 9 and the Alpex lite a 7,5. Maybe a small negatief comment is the front focuslensring that feels not so smooth. But with a trewlever you can print or buy a fischer coaster it is no problem!

Look great(y)

First time out yesterday (because it stopped raining !) and used in anger 🐀🎯 with the zt4k and it was brilliant… (airgun distances)
Easy to use …
I tried both with a 940 vcsel and 850 led ir …the led ir won hands down … the led was a smooth more realistic picture where as the vcsel makes the image frosty / speckled.

It’s all you’ll need at airgun ranges 👍

what would you recommend Russ?
I've got a Brinyte T28 LED IR torch for sub-12 use, with a lever to flick between 850nm /940nm /white.
But for longer range use the Ludicrous Lumens Wraith V3 ESL is my fave IR torch and is perfect, especially with Andy's lightweight fully adjustable mount.
Cheers. Russ
