mine come yesterday and seems ok Jason recommended it so that’s good enough really but as long as it’s clearer than a sentinel x pro happy days for the money..

It definitely is, much, much clearer . My immediate estimation is that it is a hugely improved Minotaur.

nice one , I shall report on mounts when I get my peepers on em, I've picatinny. Presumably gonna be rehashed westhunter jobbies for their retail price.

I'm not to keen on the mounts will definitely be changing them after Christmas but there do for some testing on Sunday

Yes me too mate, staying in their packaging, and I'm also a little disappointed in the generic flip up covers, a plus it has some but exactly same you can buy from AliExpress for £2.50 a pop. A bit of branding wouldn't have gone amiss . Sounds like I'm nit picking, I like to call it constructive criticism

It's an 'upper budget' offering, so any additional niceties would likely push the cost up.

I had a bit more of a play with it today (the scope ) and noted the following:

1. The IR adjustment was very tight.
2. The elevation ran out very quickly.

A quick call to Matt at Suershot who advised me that he had already spoken with factory on both counts and advised:

Stiff IR - It comes 'sealed' from the factory. Twisting it back and forth should loosen it. I can confirm this resolved mine.

Elevation - It has a zero stop fitted. Once removed, you have the full range of adjustment.

Good to know mate, the IR really reminded me of my Veyron, it was exactly the same new, it is fine now, although I hardly use the IR nowadays so no biggy if it doesn't loosen

Ive been looking at these as a cheap option to try ft with has anyone tried to see if the ranging on the side wheel is accurate.

There’s a few people at club not happy with theres and are returning them
I looked through a pals today and seriously it was shocking! Could not get a clear sight picture no matter what and as you turned elevation clockwise (down) you could see the inner bell coming into the bottom of the sight cutting off the view .! it’s going back needles to say

Mine on the other hand is really rather good

Will any owners could review the optics of this scope? Is it as blurry/milky as the Sentinel at the long end? How's the parallax?

I'm torn between the Keck and the Falcon T50i+. Has anyone had a chance to compare how much worse the Keck is?

For stiff IR this may help.

Make sure you mark the circuit board , if you put it back in slightly out. it will be on when it should be off.

A few years ago I made a ‘how to’ on curing the annoying stiff illumination rheostat that blights many Hawke scopes ( and other makes too..!)

Sadly this was lost with the demise of AGF 1…
So on request from a member I have rewritten the how-to for your use.

I contacted Deben Hawke and had a long chat with a very helpful technician who talked me through how they make overly stiff rheostats nice and smooth…

They are assembled using power tools so lack the ‘feel’ of human fingers… some are simply too tight.

No… they won’t ‘free up with use’

Well, maybe after a number of years struggling…...

For me there is no comparison between the 2 scopes. The falcon T50i+ is several leagues above the deck in my opinion.

I agree with mark even tho my Keck isn’t Kack the falcon is the better item !

Not to happy with mine used it yesterday sight picture cloudy seems top half above reticle is clearer than bottom half and will not parallax at 25 yards very disappointed with this having had a look though the one in the review it was much better. the sentinel-x pro will be going back on tm1000 today
