Some glossy period glass would really set it off!
Yes but the plan is for it to be for a deserving youngster to help them get into shooting or started out etc
So it needs to be user friendly I fully but I 100% understand your reasoning but it’s not to be a antique wall /show piece we hope Afro it to be a fully used and enjoyed gun

Fair point 👍

Ok scope 🤔
I could give a hawke sport hd 3-9 x40
A hawke vantage ir 3-9x50
A mtc viper 6-24x56
A Hawke panorama 4-12x40 ir
Or maybe something else
I have all the above lying around spare at a glance

hi gunner, another option for you if you want it. (y)

I have an original period set of iron sights from my gun. The fore sight only has the post reticle insert. The rear requires the small fixing bolt as I had to drill it out but is otherwise good. Think the bolt is around £6 b and k which I'd be prepared to buy and supply. I know that it's intended to be scoped so would understand if no (fore sight obstruction of low scope I have hence removal) but given intended purpose might help? If so let me know who to send to as might want refinishing to match action. Best regards Stewart
