Just catching up on this thread and see your post has gone unanswered. You’re probably absolutely justified in being miffed at all these problems. Is it a brand new rifle?
I’ve rent had a brand new AW Safari HP with 28” .30cal and .25 cal slug barrels and have had very few issues. None of the ones you mention at least.
I believe the slow first shot (a quirk of the gun) has been reasonably well dealt with by others’ who advocate reducing reg pressure to around 5bar above the minimum pressure required to achieve your target velocity for a given projectile.
As far as the probe you were given, that depends on which barrel you had specified in the build of your rifle… there are currently 13 barrel types that can be selected. The parallel pellet probe is the standard issue unless you specify you are shooting slugs and have ordered one of the unchoked 1:17 twist 28” slug barrels. The pin type probe can lead to instability if shooting with Diablo pellets as a) it can damage the skirt on chambering and b) allow such instantaneous air pressure it can actually deform the skirt. So, if you’re mainly shooting pellets (even through a slug barrel) you are better off with the normal probe. If you’re shooting mainly heavy weight slugs then definately the pin probe to get the maximum umph.
The USB charge cable is only meant for emergency battery top up’s. I always have a fully charged power bank with me when in the field or range shed for that purpose. The balance external charger that should have come as standard is the preferred charging method. I believe there’s no on-board BMS to minimise weight and complexity.
As far as the data transfer device and windows interface goes, yes it’s relatively expensive and a bit clunky but it does work and depending on your use, can be a good investment for HP (UK FAC) shooters who want to tune for lots of different pellets/slugs and shooting disciplines. It was originally meant for the dealer networks but then released more generally to meet popular demand. To be honest I can’t wait for Daystate to activate the Bluetooth capability and do away with these cables that litter everywhere.
I don’t know what serial number your Wolf is but mine is in the 242000’s if that number relates to the total quantity of Alpha/Delta Wolf’s ever made over the 6 years it’s been in production then that’s an incredibly small number for a smallish UK company like Daystate to have managed to invest in the development of a fully electronic bullpup…. There is still no other competitor in the market place that can compete with what this rifle offers the shooter. It’s not like they are an ‘Apple’ mega business who can afford billions on electronics R&D to create their silky smooth GUI’s.
I hope you resolve the problems you’ve encountered and begin to start enjoying tuning and shooting this great rifle.
I only compete against myself but it’s even worse a problem for vermin control and stalking…. You only usually get one shot. I make sure my reg is set just above my desired velocity, I set the sleep function off or to its longest on time, I keep toggling the trigger/safety to keep the gun awake, if I’m well down wind I may risk planting a lead seed and hope it doesn’t spook the prey. Other than that, may need to rebuild the reg and firing valve to stop air seeping into the plenum and or clean a sticking valve.

i have given up on the rifle as a hunting platform. rifle went back to AOA as it developed a leak, and AOA has been very helpful. all i can say is im not buying an electronic daystate again. AOA told me the soft first shot could not be fixed, to minimize symptoms one can run the reg just a hair above minimum needed for given projectile and run high, but not too high voltage. they rebuild the reg even though it was fine, and they rebuild the valve which was where the leak was happening.....reg now has a slight creep after sitting 1 hour it will go from 138 to 145bar ,while shooting it lands at 138
got it back 1 month later, the high power program i used with 13gr ko's worked pretty well, but as soon as i switched to a program with under 15 fpe the rifle became very inconsistent. AOA ended up sending me new electronics which almost cured it.....i still get a slow first shot, and randomly the rifle will drop 200fps for a shot or two and then come back to norm
with timer set on max, power still drops off over time, i dont think the circuitry maintains the voltage in the caps after their initial charge, rifle would shoot 10gr at 910fps initially, after waiting 80 minutes that becomes 885, doesnt matter to the rats they are dead either way, and i just gotta hold over a little bit on that first shot
rifle is brilliant once past the soft shot, being able to change program to match what im doing....going from a 8gr program to shooting 20gr zan without tools is awesome.....KO13 in the 28" barrel, just stacks at my 36y range, wish it would shoot KO10's as well but havent found the ideal settings, they group ok around 910 fps but doesnt stack.
i got a 17" .177 barrel as well, it does not like any slugs i have fed it.....but 10gr pellets it likes, even shitty crosman pellets group very nicely, and the 3d printed carm magazines tightened up the groups for all types of ammo

Blue edition Alpha Wolf for me. Now has the form cheek piece fitted though may go back to as pictured here.

Newbie Question!...I have a Redwolf, and dread the battery charge faffle, is the battery removable on the new delta wolf?....or is it plug in direct to rifle?.....
Last one ....can you set the ft/lbs using the screen ?...obviously below 12....but if you set at 11.4 will the rest self adjust to make it so?
I'm literally about to pull the trigger on a month old one , and can't find answers to those 2 questions in the waffle of daystate lol

I couldn't decide, so I bought a delta wolf, with an alpha wolf safari stock, which leads me on to how I found this thread.
It looks beautiful, feels great and doesn't work
. Battery is full, and connected correctly, but working the safety achieves nothing. If I fit the battery and connect the charge lead the screen will activate and be fully functional, however working the side lever does not reliably cock the gun. (I haven't put a single pellet in yet as I don't want to potentially leave it in an unsafe condition). Sometimes it will dry fire, other times not, and I can't spot a pattern. Once the screen times out it is back to sculpture mode until I plug it in again.
My current thinking is that maybe when the stock was changed over the safety lever and switch may have become misaligned slightly?
The dealer is contacting Daystate tomorrow but I can't get back to the dealer before Friday so I wondered if anyone on here had come across anything similar or had any other suggestions I could try in the meantime?

The Delta wolf battery is removable, and is probably best charged off the gun to enable a balanced charge across the cells. That said it can be charged in place with a USB c connection, it just won't be balanced.
Not sure on the second one sorry, but I don't think it works that way.

Mine came with a bit of tape already around it left long to form a pullable tab, easy mod if you do it before you fit the battery 
And if you can’t find some tape Daystate will sell you one Daystate Battery Pull TabHope that guy patented it

For power it depends what system your using, "default" or "user"
In the default you can set the % power up to 100%
User mode you can set hammer speed and voltage etc, the computer can then suggest a reg setting (don't turn the reg down with air in the rifle)
The sub 12 is not as power programmable as the FAC.
