Thanks for looking. Done a couple of these but the valve seat on this is different. Has an O ring seal on the face as well as periphery.
Anyone know the size please?

You might try FX Support as the gun was made by FX. As FX state the sizes of the o rings they use in their guns it should show up in the listings, failing that an e mail to their Tec Dept has always come up with the info reqd.

Hi Jules,
Which O ring are you referring to? I’ve just done an RWS Excalibur which is virtually the same gun and I have all the O ring sizes.

Andy
Odd ball here Andy. This 'fried' seal is on the face of the seating along with usual peripheral seal. The seat has raised lip to locate the seal which also sits in the bore of the block. Seen plenty with flat face seat but this is a first. Could be early version'cos no TP grub screw either.
Outer seal could be the same.

Hi Jules, ah, looks like the one which surrounds the stainless valve seat.

Can't make it out as a bit blurry.
Was it leaking through the barrel?
There are 2 tyoes if valve seat. Normal deep tapered on with small delrin valve that's seals inside the taper. You can still get them.
And the other I think is like yours where the delrin seal on the valve is bigger and the seat has a raised lip and it seals on that front face. The lip sort of digs into the delrin if you know what I mean. There shouldn't be a oring on the front. A cowboy has had it.
If the raised bit is clean and had no damage either spin the delrin seal around or make a new one. (brass is pressed on)

No, never seen that set up just the O ring around the edge.
The thing I have noticed is that there are two O ring sizes used for the transfer port. FX and Chambers seem to list a larger thinner one, whilst the seal kit form Chamber supplies a smaller one which sits firmly on either end of the brass transfer port.

Hi I have the same problem ,leaking main valve. How do you remove the old seat to install the new one please,

cheers Richard

I have a soft metal probe which is snug fit in centre. A wiggle/pull usually does it. Have used a biro/pencil too when being 'pro'
