Umarex Smith & Wesson M29 Revolver 3" CO2. ?????

Thanks for the correction Rockdrill, sorry i was wrong, I was referring to the Dan Wesson model 715, I thought it was a generic mode for all the cartridge pistols. So the out of interest, the Dan Wesson model 715 Snub Nose is not a copy of anything Dan Wesson Produced ?

As far as I know the Model 715 CO2 revolvers all use rear loading shells, even the 6mm airsoft variant.

There was an older revolver branded as 'Dan Wesson' that was not actually a replica of an actual Dan Wesson product that used front loading BB shells: Dan Wesson (old type)

The Model 715 CO2 revolvers are copies of the real item, the only aspect I am unsure of is whether the real 4 inch DW had a picatinny rail incorporated into the underlug of he barrel.

Dan Wesson 715 Pistol Pack / Dan Wesson 715 (not the CO2 guns)

No the 4" real version didn't have a pic rail, its something ASG decided to add and I think it makes it look like a toy and has spoiled the look or i would have bought one. So I am going for the 2.5 snubby, I want to be different and use it now and again in the Zhft pistol comps instead of my match pistol. It will be good for a laugh, even better if i can hit something without fitting a scope lol.

ASG Dan Wesson 715 2.5" Barrel Pellet Pistol. I have found the cheapest delivered to my door at £209. does any body know If i could get it anywhere else cheaper delivered to my door Cheers.

The only other way would b to put up a wanted ad and see if there is a used one someone might want to part with.
Hi mate.
I have ordered one from Pellpex, they are sending it to my home, at least if I get a new one I have the warranty if anything goes wrong. BUT I dropped a bollock. I paid for it and then found out i had orederd the BB version when i wanted the Pellet version, so I have asked them to replace it and i will pay the difference.

Something I have often thought about regarding revolvers that can use either pellet or BB is, should the forcing cone be made to suit one or the other.
On the ASG Dan Wesson 715 2.5" I have just ordered they do 2 types of the same pistol, one for BBs and one for Pellets, in the BB one you put the BB in the nose of the Cartridge, on the Pellet one you put the pellet in the base of the Cartridge, I believe that the cone is different for both pistols,

Based on shooting it seems to make no odds.

The results with pellets through the smoothbore are only a fraction behind those from the rifled.

I specifically want the Rifled Pellt version as I want to be different and use it in the HFT Pistol Range Cops, so the rifled barrel and pellets will give me just that edge to TRY to hit something without using my maych pistol and scope.

I know what you mean but we cannot use bbs at out club so I have to use pellets, I am just bored using my Match pistol, I want something different. It's the fun of the frustration of hitting nothing lol.

I've never used BB's in my model 29's only pellets.

My Webley Mk6 is a BB version, it came with front loading BB shells, but I got a set of rear loading pellet shells for it and they drop straight in and work no problem. That changed the gun from a spray and pray to decent accuracy.

I had a MK6 Webley when i was in the forces it was a beautiful gun on the range, much better than the later .38 Webly, so years after I was demobbed and I took up shooting, I bought the Mk6 Webley, and I was surprised how realistic it was, but like a fool I sold it, and thats a shame as I have developed a taste in Pistols, I have my 7000 Match Pistol with Weihrauch scope, my 1911A1 Rail Gun CO2, my Glock 17 Gen 3 Premium model, and my Dan Wesson 715 on the way (Hopefully) also my Air Arms FTP900 and my Steyr Challenge HFT, so pistols is becoming my thing also nice to collect for show. I may think about a Wobbly Webly MK6 again.

I did briefly have the 3 inch version. It is smooth bore rather than rifled and the cylinder is hollow so I didn't find it particularly accurate or enjoyable to shoot. It does look the part though.
