I have just watched a review for the new BMW iX3 and if I had the facility to charge this at home, and the initial purchase price of course, then I think I'd be very tempted.

I quite like the electric Citroen Ami as a solution to going into town for near zero cost, but a second car for distance would be essential and it wouldn't be electric. I know the Ami is limited to 48kmh, but the maximum speed we would reach normally is only 60kmh and thats just for a few hundred metres. If we had the money I'd buy one.

I very nearly signed up to lease one of these for.......£40 a month inclusive, ultimately i didn't as it was hard to justify. but that is less than box of wine for a town round about

We are on our second EV .....Both have been Audi E-trons. The first was a bit lacking in range at 200 - 225 average ( Higher in Summer ) but really nice and all the bells and whistles and the one we have now which is a Q4 sportsback E-tron is not quite as fully featured but the extra range gets rid of the anxiety around charging etc . It can charge to 80% in less than 30 mins on a high power charger when we travel distance ( not often ) and at home it costs £4-£6 quid for a full charge.

It is currently a lease agreement that we use and hopefully when I lose the option to lease via work I can find a deal for another.

Some of the offers I see being bandied about for new evs on lease seem veryattractive, £300 a month gets a huge amount of car and potentially negligible fuel and maintenance costs..... bit of a no brainer for someone who isn't able to spanner for themselves and needs cost effective transport

I had the iPace on business lease for 4 years; that was pretty good but they don’t make them now. Currently have a Polestar 4 which is amazing & frustrating in equal measure; have seen 370 miles range on that & charges quickly too.
EV’s suit me very well at the moment from a tax standpoint, but I wouldn’t spend my own money due to depreciation.
