I thought that maybe those with an interest in the Euros might want to post their thoughts/predictions/opinions/banter here.
And perhaps those of a "I'd rather watch paint dry" persuasion will start their own Dulux appreciation thread and have the courtesy of not commenting on this one🥱

Anyway, COME ON ENGERLAND!!!
 
England are going to win the tournament… same as every tournament..
THIS YEAR HAS TO BE OUR YEAR
 
Sadly, I am not convinced, I would love to see England win another international final but we tend to over hype our team every time. I can remember when we won the World Cup in 1966, I was ten years old. We have some world class individuals but not a team. If we don’t come out of the traps tomorrow against Serbia then I can see an early trip home. Don’t underestimate Serbia they beat Sweden 3 -0 and as you know our last game we lost to Iceland.Having watched Spain demolish Croatia today, I think Spain look really good and could go all the way.
 
I wouldn't read too much into our loss to Iceland. Nobody wanted to pick up a knock, it was a friendly, it meant nothing really.
Traditionally, the team that goes on to win starts quite slowly, and not particularly impressively.
Spain demolished an over the hill Croatia side. Italy look uncomfortable against Albania, despite being 2-1 up, and Albania have had a couple of chances that could have got them a draw.
It's an England -France final.
 
Disclosure I'm Welsh, But find the Media Convince England that they're better than they really are... Excuses already in, Weak Defence, should have taken Grealish ect... Exactly the same with the Cricket Team...IMO 👋🏳️

Are they excuses though? Maybe they're just observations.
The fact is , we don't have the strongest defence, we do have a better midfield/forward line than we've ever had (not necessarily better individual players, but they work together better than in the days of Gerrard, Scholes and Lampard. It's a well known fact that the Liverpool and Man United players wouldn't even eat together on England duty. Beckham didn't mix with anyone outside of Man United. How pathetic is that?)
Whatever the criticisms of Southgate, the one thing he has done is get rid of club rivalry within the England camp.
 
And it begins, the Medias Headline on Slovenia v Denmark...just in Case Serbia do an Iceland 😉

I just hope we perform well even if the score isn't in our favour. This country need a team to be proud of amidst the sh1tstorm of politics.
 
If we don't win then our new Prime Minister has to cancel the passport of Gareth Southgate and send him to live with that ISIS bride woman.

There are no excuses this time
 
I've got loads of Euros, maybe one day I'll get to holiday in Europe & spend them.

Sadly I don’t think I will see England ever win a tournament. I was 2 when they won the World Cup in 1966 and my memory of that is non existent. I’d love to see it happen but I’d predict the usual poor performances after all the hype. Hope I’m wrong.

Bellingham and Saka are doing the biz, just a shame we can't make Foden as effective for England as he is for City.
 
Much fancied Belgium and France performed pretty poorly in their openers. It'll be interesting to see how Portugal do.
