Super glue or threadloc

I have a slip on barrel weight/moderator for a hw80 it’s only held with a small grub and comes loose after a number of shots, Im thinking either superglue or blue thread locker for a more permanent solution to fix it to the barrel with the possibility to remove it again with a little heat?
Best policy always use the 'right tool' for the job!
So it's thread locker or a similar product.
Cheers.

Another tip ( sure I read it on here) is a small bit of silver foil in the tread hole before inserting and tightening the grub screw).

Loctite is often mentioned as the 'go to' threadlock brand. I'm fortunate to have an engineering supplier 10 miles from me which stocks British made Delta Engineering Adhesives. I'd recommend D22 Bearing Grade adhesive (a retaining compound).

Delta is good value too when compared with Loctite. Personally recommended having used it for years on firearm threads, bikes, chainsaws and the like.

See https://delta-adhesives.co.uk/engineering-adhesives/ for all product details.

Cyanoacrylate glue (superglues) isn't the the product for this application in my opinion.

Thanks for all the suggestions lads very much appreciated, just to be clear I’m looking to bond the mod directly to the barrel to eliminate the need for the grub screw as I use the mod/weight as a cocking aid and want it firmly fixed 👍🍻

I have re-fitted mod/catch on HW97's with red thread lock. Its basically slow drying super glue, gives you plenty of time to make sure the mod or what ever is correctly positioned.
