Solware prices

I got my Steyr Hunting 5A from Solware, not particularly cheap, but they were the only shop with one in stock at the time. I would happily buy from them again.
 
I've paid them a visit on a couple of occasions... Service and price were spot on. 🙂

I have two complaints though... They need a bigger shop and it needs to be nearer to Wales (or maybe not). 🤣
 
Was there Monday with my mate I picked up my new Reximex and a few extra bits mate brought a s/h r10se top class lads to deal with and the coffee is not bad 😎
 
Yes agree with many of the previous posts,Solware are decent to deal with,speak to carl or Alex for the best deals

They laughed at my AWC :oops: .
i was going to buy bullets on my way home from a few days away seeing some friends and popped in there and decided to get them there than the RFD near my brother . As I was getting my FAC out they saw the AWC , they had not seen one before.

I saved £20 getting them there than my local RFD .

Only slight negative was with their delivery service - I never got any notification of dispatch or likely delivery date. The delivery was quick but as I wasn't in the driver just handed the (unwrapped) rifle box to a neighbor!

Luckily a nice neighbor so no problem in my case!

I would consider taking this post down. The driver broke the law as far as I know. Wouldn't want to get him or the company in trouble.
 
Well that turned out not to be the bargain I was hoping for phoned up to put a deposit on it and they have a problem with the website the price didn't include vat even though the website said it did which explains why they were over £300 cheaper than most retailers
 
They are selling Taipan Vet 2 for £1200.

That’s got to be less than cost price. Lowest elsewhere is about £1550 with some at the RRP of £1900.

Can this be right? Looks a little suspect to me.

I think the website has been changed recently maybe a few gremlins in there 🤷‍♂️
 
defiantly an issue, my dealer has spoken to the importer has just told me they are not displaying VAT. They cant buy a vet2 for what solware are advertising at. ive been quoted £1735 for the model solware are advertising at £1250.

At least theyve saved me £1250 i suppose :rolleyes:

Sounds like they've really messed up.the website. I can't log on now. It wasn't the best website before....but it worked
 
Not visited them for a while, but were always friendly and pretty reasonable price wise.

i,ve been to solware today for a Brocock ghost £1208.00 thought it was cheap, 44 mile round trip , its almost £1500 in the shop , didn't, purchase the gun, came home checked the website again still £1200 , there's now a big RED NOTICE on the site , VAT AS NOT BEEN ADDED ONTHE WEB SITE ALTHOUGH IT SAYS IT AS , WEB SITE COCK UP 😭😭😭

I'm glad I phoned first and didn't make a round trip mine would have been 300 miles

Agree... that's where I've purchased my spare New hunting 5 Magazines From.
I've got mixed reviews on there after sales 😔... but I've come to the conclusion that most dealers don't want to know once they've had your Dollar 💰💰.
