Just buy a sash clamp thats what most people use

I haven’t got a picture but basically it’s a threaded rod with two bolts and two large washers. Seems to work well enough.

I’ve used both homemade ones with threaded bolt and also clamp like the one below (and use improvised “bits” on the ends, depending what rifle I’m stripping )

The op was asking about spring compressors for air rifles.That clearly is a spring compressor for the suspension on panzer tanks

Here is the one I made last year to sort out my Remmy. I had all the bits lying around and once I started building it it just came together no planning and it works really well and cheap cos I'm cheap . One love Ali
