I have the Spartan Sentinel Woodland tripod and use it for when I am covering a lot of ground of a night and in place of shooting sticks. Its expensive but very very good.

You do get what you pay for and I use this tripod most times that I am out shooting
However I was looking out for something I could use in a more stationary situation and one that I could clamp my rifle in a set position and which wouldnt cost a fortune.
I came across these KF Concept tripods after researching tripods on some photography sites
and
.
There are many others to view but we can all agree that photography equipment isn't cheap so these photography types aren't going to stick their cameras onto something that isn't going to do its job.
I bought this:
https://www.kentfaith.co.uk/tripods/Carbon-Fiber-Tripods/KF09.093_Carbon Professional Tripod Monopod with 360 Degree Ball Head.
Find a coupon code and you can save like I did up to £17 off bringing the price below £100 for a carbon tripod.
I already had the Bogs rifle clamp
https://spares.bagnallandkirkwood.c...h-grip-ultralight-shooting-sticks-head-clamp/. So I could use that on the ball head of this tripod as it is a standard Arca Swiss adapter on the clamp
So all in for the clamp and tripod( with coupon code) gets you a set up for below £200. The tripod comes with an Arca Swiss Plate so it can fit to most devices to hold a rifle in place.
There are other clamps on the web but be careful as the one I had that was 3d printed had only the one jaw that moved so that it clamped the rifle off centre to the tripod. It also squeaked like a bugger when tightening it up with it being plastic.
I also have the Sentinel Arca Swiss adapter plate to mount the tripod onto my existing spartan fittings on my rifle.

For those with MLok or Picatinny rails then adapters can be had from may different places.
The KF concept carbon tripod is excellent for the money. Extremely well made and rigid. Easy to set up and small enough when folded to stick in a back pack. The ball head clamps with a 1/4 turn screw and will hold my 5kg(10lb) .223 set up solidly in place while I am using my spotting scope with no worry about it tipping over. The 3 position leg angles allow it to be set up for those sitting down sessions when a nice shooting seat is in order.
A shooting friend and game keeper has the aluminium version and he is very impressed with his
Aluminium is a lot cheaper too and not that much to tell between the weights either This one can set up higher so may suit the taller shooter.
Again use the coupon codes.(
https://www.dealdrop.com/kf-concept-china or
https://www.wethrift.com/kandf-concept) there are may other sites its just case of trying the codes at the check out stage.
3 year warranty if you buy it off the Kent Faith site.
I have also used it mounted with my binoculars for observing Jupiter this past week. Again very solid for this work too.
Do not be worrying about the Orange. Its not a Blase Orange beloved of our over the pond cousins to stop them slotting each other, but more of a burnt orange. Put it this way in day light and at night I have not had rabbit, rat or fox complaints about the colour scheme.
I am in no way affiliated to KF concepts just a very satisfied customer.
I tried the Primos Trigger sticks but just could not get on with them so they my be making an apperanace in the sales section soon
