I used to do a lot of feretting in the dales and we would shoot bolting rabbits I soon realised they didnt need as much lead as you think.
Trouble with a clay rabbit is they are unaturally fast, they are decelerating fast, and bounce, so I usually try work a point in where it touches the ground regulary and and so work out a point where I want to kill that target so I have my feet and body properly aligned.
keep both eyes fixed on the target gun low just off cheek then bring the gun up to your line of sight where you want to kill that target, remember to swivel with your hips and make your top half and barrels match the speed of the clay get in front and follow through after the shot is fired, concentrate on being smooth and repeatable, fluid, no jerky movements, dont rush, draw the line follow through bang, your wad should tell you if you miss behind, if so increase your lead a little, its only practice, if there was a target that frustrates you just shoot that stand as much as you can until you master it.
