Optics for HW 30

Many pair something like the Hawke 2-7x32 with the HW30. However, I like a bit more magnification and a finer reticle, which for me greatly increases the shooting distance and flexibility of the HW30. As such, I quite like the compact Vector Veyron SFP range, which is available in 3-12x44, 4-16x44 and 6-24x44.

A couple of photos below of the 3-12 and 6-24 variants on my HW30, for comparison (same rifle, different stocks). I prefer the look of the 6-24 as it looks more slender and less 'squashed' than the 3-12, and of course, it provides the additional magnification.

I also recently acquired another SureShot Optics 2.5-15x32, one of which I currently have on my Reximex Mito 'mini carbine'. I was so impressed with it that I acquired another, which I will be trialling on the HW30, and can be viewed in the last photo. This scope also provides an excellent mag range without 'overpowering' the rifle, and at 261mm keeps it quite civil.

Problem with the 30 is it is so accurate a 4x scope is not enough to take advantage of it...
Yup. My 8 year old managed this 5 shot grouping at just under 25 yards this weekend just gone, no chance with the supplied 4x32 as nice as it was for an included optic with the kit, couldnt see where the pellets were landing at that range.
