Newer SMK Spitfire pellets - be careful!

They seem to work very well in .177 too.

Spits are my favourite budget pellet as they size really well. I find size is more important than weight, after pushing them through a pellet sizer, these shot the best of any pellets in my HW99, I know it's a lower end Weihrauch but it's probably the most accurate 22 I have and use this as my control gun to test all others against.

I've not had a chance to shoot yet, I'll try and give them a go out to 25 yards this evening. They look well formed and weights are pretty good across the 15 or so pellets I tested so hoping for good things.

I've been using the .22 ones for about a year on an FX impact and a weihrauch hw100kt without any problems. I know the weights are out by approx 2 grains . I have noticed that the .177's have been out of stock for weeks where I normally get my .22 from, some guy's I shoot with have been really pleased with the .177's but now are saying they are rubbish. Wonder if there is a manufacturing problem.
