I want this 1970’s Seiko. Talk me out of it!

I don’t own this, but I want to, it is in an auction that finishes tonight.

I buy watches because I like them. Cost, names and fashion don’t usually come into it. I have a thing for 70’s watches at the moment and have quite a few freaky digitals that time should’ve forgot!

Can you talk me out of this, or is it as beautiful as I think it is? I also have no idea on value, and as it would never get sold, it really comes down to what I would pay for it. Some guidance thee too please

My advice would be to only purchase it if you think it is more attractive and desirable than an HW 35

Sacré Bleu I’ve a Seiko 5 or 3 somewhere but I wouldn’t be rushing to add that to the collection. Beauty is in eye of the beholder, Stevie Wonder would probably like it.

It's not art deco, but reminds me of art deco if that makes sense?

Buy it. I like it too. I can't see it losing any money as long as you don't pay too much to begin with. But I have no idea what they're worth so I won't say any more.
