Hw75 help

white lithium grease from the pivot point?

I don’t think it is factory and there is nothing to bodge there - won’t affect air integrity as it is on the outer edge

here is what mine looks like bottom side front

A late update but good news. I wasn't sure which seal was causing the low power problem so I replaced all seals and the valve spring, the power has gone from 1.3 ft lbs to 2.3 ft lbs, and is a lot more consistent , I believe 2.3ft lbs is roughly the maximum to expect from
a hw75, hopefully this helps someone else in future, 🍻

Thanks for putting my mind at rest. My hw75 was producing 2.75 ft/lbs, i thought there was something wrong with it.

Velocity readings are more useful when discussing optimum pistol performance. My 75 has an MV of 410 to 420 fps.

True, sorry it was several weeks ago now and I couldn't reply sooner as I was banned for several weeks for commenting on a wanted advert.
From memory I think it was around 400fps with a pellet of roughly 7gr. These pistols aren't designed to be powerful, but pre repair it wouldn't punch clean holes in paper targets, now it's punching nice clean holes.

I have just put my HW75 over the chrony after reading the above comments about power output. Mine is doing about 2.6ft/lb with Air Arms 8.44 gr and about 2.4 ft/lb with RWS R10 match 7 gr pellets. It sounds more powerful than that when hitting the back of the target holder at 8 yds!
As has also been said, for accuracy power is far less important than consistency. My power variation was pretty small but I didn't make a note of the ft/sec readings which might have been more useful to test.
