HW 100 Loosing pressure

Not normal for a 6 month old HW100.
30bar over night is quite a fast leak.

I assume it still has warranty being so new?

Could be something as simple as the inlet valve o ring - where the air cylinder screws on to the action.

Also - If you remove the cylinder for a night and that holds pressure then you will know it's not the cylinder leaking.

Could be a number of things, very easy to fix. Do you know where the leak is coming from. Firstly you can remove the Cylinder and make sure it is charged and put a balloon over each end to check if it's the Cylinder. If Cylinder is ok then you know it's the rifle so strip down is needed. and needs to be returned under warranty. Also recently a friend bought a brand new PCP, the air cylinder was about half full when purchased. He carefully filled it to recommended pressure and within a day that started loosing pressure. . Took it back to the shop and it had a full reseal. Don't know how long the gun had been in the shop before purchase but you will hear about storing PCP'S for long periods with constant pressure the seals they harden over time so when next charged etc this change in pressure can cause seals to leak so they recommend if storing for long periods to dry shoot a few times every fortnight to change pressure in the gun. I do this all the time. Hope you get it sorted. 👍

As above, just take it back to RFD. If they want to take the cylinder off to check where it's leaking it's up to them, but either way it should be repaired by them/HC not you whilst it's under warranty

Just unscrew the cylinder 1 turn then dry fire the rifle 3 or 4 times to remove the pressure then the cylinder can be unscrewed completely without risk of blowing the o ring out of the valve.

Check the cylinder is not loose before anything it could be that simple . Do not gorilla tighten it though .

Had same problem when we bought the Wifes HW100 back in 2017. As others have said most likely the Cylinder seal and indeed is what it was on hers. Took it back to shop and they just tightened the cylinder a fraction of a turn whilst we watched and luckily all was good and has been so far to date. The advice to take back to the RFD if bought new is spot on, if you take it apart there may be questions on the warranty front..

Just take it back to the place of purchase first before you do anything your self, as already said the cylinder can be removed while full of air with no problem , when you refit them just only nip it up ,

DO NOT try to tighten it until the cylinder touches the block. There is supposed to be a gap, business card sort of thickness, HW100 Tuning even sell a spacer to make sure people don't overtighten

Thing about "returning" to the shop for warranty work most these days won't fix owt and just return to there suppliers/makers
This cab take quite some time.
Most wait till they get a few gubs to return to sve money so it could take a couple of weeks before it even leaves the shop.
Remove from stock, when upside down you're see a few holes where the stock screws in.
Stick your tongue over them.
Feel for bubbles, this will point to a couple if oring locations that have failed, one a simple fix (it's on a nipple under where the cylnder screws in)
Also remove inlet dust plug, stick your finger over one side, and again, use your tongue.
If s bubble if felt here, try a short, fast blast from your charge bottle. I bit of debris may be in between the seal and the seat. If it won't dislodge that one can be an awkward seal to get to and change.
