Im new here as only now wanting to get back into a bit of shooting after 20 /25 yrs out of it so i need to build my profile up as such....
Im looking at buying an FX DRS in walnut to do a bit of shooting in the garden till i go to a range and itll be good for my son to learn on as its light, but im open to other options if there is a better route to go.
I like the feel of the DRS and it looks nice but having not shot one its a bit of a stab in the dark. I was tempted by an AA S510 but its heavy and bit old skool compared to the DRS.

I can’t comment on the FX because I’ve never shot one….but some on here nickname them the FiX….I’ll leave that there!!

The top hat and valve stem can be removed from most stealths by 2 x 2p pieces either side between the bottom of the top hat and the bottle and levering gently till it comes out.
No use for the regulated valves, or, removing anything else - but that's what I used to use in the short time I had mine.

Start a new thread in the Anything Airgun Related, there’s plenty of experienced shooter that have or do own literally dozens of rifles, they’ll give you a good steer on what to go for??
I’ll have a prediction with you though….it’ll start with HW

Hi, I’m no gunsmith and even I managed to change the breach seals, install a fresh hammer spring, and change the spring spacers myself.
When I bought mine it was producing 8.5fpe, I did the above, plus removed some non-standard ballast from the plenum and it now runs at 11.5fpe.
The GunPower platform is the simplest and purist PCP you’ll get. I just read up as much internet stuff as I could find and got some helpful guidance from the knowledgeable members on here!
