Gunpower Stealth Parts/Airbottle

Hello Everyone,

Ive got a gunpower stealth which my local shop cannot repair as they cannot find the parts. Basically the top hat has come off the valve stem.

Does anyone know where i can get parts to try and fix it myself or a shop who could do it for me?

Ive had the gun since about 2000 and had a good 10 odd years with it before it got put in a cupboard and forgotten about and now i want to get back into a bit or target shooting and go from there but with a broken gun im not going anywhere fast!

Any help would be much appreciated.

you could email geoff@gunpower.net and I know hes a tough one to get hold of and he may be able to send you a new valve steam.

Also search for Airforce condor / tallon parts, or ven aliexpress for a boss type valve with an 8mm diameter top hat, but you will need it set up for 12ftlbs as you will probably be well over.

ive tried emailing gunpower but no one replies :unsure:

how hard is it to change the stem/valve? also nothing has been used for about 15 years so will i need to get the bottle inspected?

you can sometimes just pull them out they i have made top hats in the past but your better off replacing the whole valve the one i put in the link will be good
 
I bought new bottle valves, new uprated hammer spring, the original hammer, and loads of other bits from ebay, they were from U.S sellers and a bit of a bitch to find, also they will make your stealth f.a.c, so take care, the top hat you mention is only held in place on the stealth bottle valve with a small grub screw, I had the same thing happen to mine and I just rethreaded the top hat and put in a new grub screw, even if this is beyond your DIY skills I fail to see why any gunsmiths couldn't do this for you!

The top hat is no more.... Its gone and i have no idea where it is, plus as the gun hasnt been used in years they are reluctant to pressure test the bottle incase it blows up apparently....

So if you have a link to the parts i need id appreciate it lol

I've had a dig around my shooting bits and found a spare stealth bottle valve, i knew I had one somewhere, as I no longer have my stealth you are welcome to it, if you pm me your address I will pop it in the post asap!

Mine is OG from when the gun was new so about 25years old now....
