As title . I'm reasonably confident a slug is neither in nor out can't push probe forward. I have the hammer and spring out . Removed barrel grub screw . It's rather tight. Before I pull it harder any tips ? Suspect it was the last slug . Is there any concerns about not being able to de pressurise the plenum ?

Could you introduce something down the barrel to push it back into the mag.
 
Tried a .177 rod . I think the magazine 'block' is in the way . I may be able to rotate the mag with a probe
 
If the Mavericks barrel is anything like the M3, you should be able to undo the securing screws and pull it out. I would put the safety on first and maybe tie the cocking handle in the cocked position so it doesnt spring shut.
 
Sorted thanks . Something I could have done without but got me tinkering on the gun a bit . Thanks for the input. I used a sharpened racing bike spoke which makes a handy hook/ probe . Solution below

We cut teeth into a feeler blade with a file to make a cross cut lead saw. Slips between mag/breech to cut pellet in half.
Takes minutes and saved hours. Got a photo somewhere.
