Can someone clarify in a competition is .177 and .22 gauge used?
Is there different competitions for different calibres?
Read somewhere that .22 used to standardise scores, is this true?
Different organisations different rule?
Confused
Ever day is a school day 🫣

I shoot the UK Association of Rimfire and Air Rifle postal leagues, in their rule book it states on Page 4 that "all scoring will be at .22". As mentioned above, other organisations may have different procedures. Best advice is to check with the governing body of the organisation you are shooting under.

I am a level c scorer, and the gauges we use are .22. We use them to score .22 and also 177. we shoot NRSA rules. The same targets are used for .22 and 1.77, the gauges are available from NRSA, we also use .22 gauges for X scores.
