Cant really understand the issue with shorts, nothing changes do a 60 shot string with jsb exact 8.44, all work. Change to shorts next...

High mounts and I think you wold be fine, but be aware it is a big scope and very heavy. Plus you will pay a premium for 34mm mounts...

Well mine didn't , test sheet same as yours 11.2......new gun first shot today 11.9-12.1 with the same JSB 8.44 as the test sheet!

Yeah I normally put a black mark line on the hammer adjuster so when I turn it down or up u can easily go back to the original setting 👍
