They do a weird range with different spirits in too ... if your cannabis one is anything like the tequila beer you'll be disappointed Deleted member as it's vile 🤮

I do the ordering for 14 of my lads pubs, not one of them stocks any "craft" ales, some have tried, but it hasn't taken off, unlike fruit tainted spirits and ciders.. Lol

Beer should taste like beer. Gin should taste like gin. Vodka shouldn't taste like....anything, really. Why go to the trouble of making these drinks if you're going to smother the taste with something else? Makes no sense to me.

Totally agree. Some time ago while staying at a rather nice hotel I was served a gin & tonic in a huge balloon glass, which seems to be the current fashion. The barman used about half a pint of ice cubes, no doubt so that the glass didn't appear to be completely empty, then sprinkled dried juniper berries in it. The result was that the ice cubes melted & I ended up with a highly diluted gin & tonic which tasted like slightly tangy water, complete with hard bits that I had to be careful not to swallow. Not only that, but the bucket-sized glass made it difficult to take a sip without the drink dribbling past the corners of my mouth & down my shirt.
Since then I've been very particular about having G&T served in a straight glass with only the obligatory slice of lime or lemon, & without too much ice. I shouldn't have to tell bar staff how to serve a drink in such a way that I can actually enjoy it, but there you go....

I haven't figured out why people want beer to taste of owt but, er, beer..

Exactly!

It's so all the pretentious tw@s can sit in the pub and talk(loudly) about the 'undertones/overtones of blah, blah, blah' so folk know that they 'know; their beer
Usual types sat nursing and sipping a half for about an hour.

Beer doesn't come in tins! Tinned beer tastes of.....tin! It comes in bottles or out of a pump (and those 2 variations make it taste different)
