yea so matthew in the video is my eldest at 23 and can shoot far better than me lol he has 2 22lr rifles a .38/357 hand gun which has a barrel extension and a type of arm rest so is classed as a rifle due to its length ? has got the go ahead for a 303 308 and is on about a 50 cal now made by accuracy international i hope i have got all this correct

Me too! When I saw the photo of the latest rifle my mind immediately went back to loading the magazine and it pinging out the plastic 'bullets'.
It was no match for the kid next door's 'Johnny 7' with its grenade launcher, etc!
Apologies for continuing off topic, but sometime during my childhood I had a Winchester with gold coloured 'bullets' that would eject with each cycle of the loading lever thing. Eventually lost all of the 'ammo' as a consequence.
Back on topic. My word, that new reincarnation (and something that actually meaningfully shoots) really does look superb.

If you want the nearest to the real thing, VFC do a 6mm gas blowback FAL, semi & full auto, all steel (except the upper receiver which is machined alloy) and hardened steel trigger group. Has a right crack to it, very good blowback and you can fit genuine furniture (as I have done - see pics) and it takes a bayonet. Shoots over 400fps wiich makes it a very effective plinker. Bit pricey though.
