Anyone got a L1A1 SLR?

If so, what do you think of it?

Can't find anything on it other than the Pellpax add. If they do it with mag loaded shells similar to the Umarex Cowboy rifles, I'd be very interested

I definitely want one.

I'd also like a Lee Enfield Number 4, but I'm not sure such an animal exists. :(

I think its like the cybergun AK-47 a CO2, BB pistol type magazine that fits inside the bigger rifle magazine. Then its just a double action only type trigger that opens up the valve. Very crude but its a nice show peice

It's the same as this

Pistol grip, carry handle, rearsight all look wrong; not sure about the top cover either.
And no SUIT :)

Defcon Airsoft showing the Ames one in stock, bit pricey

Isnt that a YLR :-) (Yourself Loading Rifle) What a crappy country we live in today eh. Still a least he get to shoot something.

Had to do that with plastic rounds for CQB, but with the cocking handle. Didn't have enough oomph to work the gas parts.
Equally, didn't have enough oomph to go through the walls, so swings & roundabouts.
We could have got through in a quarter of the time if they'd managed semi-auto.
No matchsticks :)

i was an armourer in the late 80s early 90s and they where slowly being fazed out but as you do we played around with them , the match stick trick was quite eye opening , i was only a young fella and wasn't expecting the ride :ROFLMAO: quite a shock

i think the fn version was full auto? wrong i may well be but yes matchstick was to hold a trigger sear free movement as such but no one ever see anyone do it apprently

Nice, I had the Airfix one back in the day, complete with rubber bayonet and plastic bullets. (y)
Me too, how strange but as soon as read the word Airfix the memory of owning it came flooding back. I must have been 10 or 11 so some 58 years ago!

The FN 7.62 SLR was fully auto, 3 position selector...... and a propper solid flash hider. Happy days!
