Depends on who's doing the defining of 5 minutes - if it's SWMBO you can forget the sneaky little session you were going to have in the morning ... today's was a broken clip on a downpipe (caused by her in the first place hanging onto it when she was pissed), shortly followed by the immortal words, "You might like to clean the gutters out while you're at it".

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
She wasn't on the Stella Cidre again perchance ??

I've just mended my front door bell-push.
Get screwdriver and knife. 1 minute.
Unscrew bell push 1 minute
Use knife to bend contacts a touch further apart. Test. 1 minute
Reassemble 1 minute.
Put away screwdriver and knife 1 minute.

Job done in 5 minutes.

This MUST be a record. And no crushed fingers either.

Oh
Here’s an odd ball

It’s to allow fitting of a Steyr tube with an aftermarket internal reg to a Walther with a Walther reg but without the reg part

I think

I didn't fall for the "go to the tool store and fetch me a left handed hammer", but given a requisition slip I waited ages for a 'long stand' and when I asked were it was the reply I received was "you've had it". Cruel lot I worked with.

I thought it was something to say to apprentices
I was given a job last week, thought is was a wind up but no it wasn't (I am the apprentice)
I've got to bandsaw 12 meters of 2 inch round stainless in to 9mm disks with an accuracy of ,25mm
I make that about 1250+ and then they have to be turned, milled and drilled.
