Creality dual spool filament heater/dryer arrived yesterday… it was in “Black Friday” special for $69.99 so I jumped on it. Not had time to set it up yet.
I had a spool of graduated silk pla, so decided to just use it up and did these grips for fun.. and the matching pump handle is printing as I write this. Not to everyone’s taste, or even mine, but why not, and all in the spirit of testing!
I’ve been putting my modified Ender 3 v2 thru its paces, and it’s doing well, but also I’m working on upgrading my Ender 5 plus.
I just put a Microswiss Revo all
Metal Extruder on it, and am just trying to figure out the filament path… as I want this one to print abs and nylon someday, i have to build in the thr need for an enclosure too.
I have another project machine on the back burner too.
A buddy gave me a Ender 3 Neo with a dead extruder.
I’d had an idea brewing for a while.,
So I bought an “Ender Extender” kit for it, and now it’s gone from the stock 220 x 220 footprint to 400 x 400… but I think I might go in another direction with it now and make it into a laser etcher. I have the Creality 10w unit, and I like the idea of trying that!
