I will answer questions as best I can, but I haven't seen a diagram nor got my hands on one yet so I am limited on my information currently.
I should be getting my grubby mitts on a prototype ahead of the first batch landing so will be able to do a deep dive on that when it arrives for more in depth queries.
Soo far I can tell you, the expected RRP will be £1400, the reg is a Huma OEM part (but not the same part as Krait) and that the L size weighed 2.95kg with a beech stock so expect a smidge over 3 with the walnut I expect.

Actually mine was a true bypass like theirs, not a packer, which is why I still don't understand how my GPG holds air cos its relying on my bad machining :ROFLMAO: but hold air it does, I removed the same O rings as they did to avoid trapping air inside the plenum.

The Kraits are usually very well behaved on the ping side, soo far I think the only time I have ever thought to myself "oooh thats a bit pingy" was when it was badly off tune, a few twiddles later and they are pretty quiet again.

Any chance you could upload a vid of what's involved in a barrel conversion (.177 to .22 preferably)? I'm the kind of guy that really benefits from a visual guide.

No need to put the subsequent 'tune' in the vid (that way you can avoid any neg chat about power levels etc...)

Problem with AirMaks and AGT, maybe most others too! they are designed around FAC use. Which can make sub 12 uses(not always) not the most efficient . My uragan 2 is very air hungry but works great so leaving as is. The katran since the eco mod gains maybe 30 shots from a fill( katran c).
There is more to the FAC than just the plug, I don’t think it would be worth doing myself. Could trade the sub in or add the FAC. Once the sub goes FAC is will always be FAC in lead to believe (even if back to sub 12 power). Also looses a good bit of value to. Just food for thought . Chris will be able to sneezer in far better details. Congrats on the krait, awesome machine 😎👌🏻

For those folks considering buying a sub 12 Krait/L/X and then at a later date getting it put onto your ticket, show me your ticket so I know you are genuine and then I am happy to tell you what is involved and the 6 hardware changes that need to be made to do the job properly.
When the time comes I will do the job for only the cost of the postage back to your RFD (come visit me and I will do it all FOC!) but I do need to see that ticket first to ensure it is all above board.

Plus of course your warranty will remain intact which is a bonus to most folks.

@Greylag80 I could do a quick "barrel out for cleaning" type video, and then mention how the probe fits, the rest of course is tuning

I am told that all of the walnut stocks are just as good as the one in that photo so I have high hopes, the normal Krait Walnut stocks have all been really good to be fair so I am confident these will be cracking too.

My prototype unit should have left the factory today so I will post some photos when that lands, it may or may not have the stock from the photos on it as I did say I really like that one and wanted it for myself :ROFLMAO:

Other than the reviews of the airmaks krait, it was the reputation Chris has for his customer service and satisfaction that made my mind up 100% that it's the right rifle and the right dealer 👌

Few more details on the new Krait Lite that have been revealed in last 24 hours.

Regulator is as we suspected positioned at the front of the plenum, I have now seen some nearly complete diagrams so I will be burying my nose in those when I can (probably print them off for Hotel reading on Saturday night).

Secondly they are making a low volume plenum for the UK market.:cool: this is very cool and also really funny as I was literally typing a message to Maksim asking if the Krait plenum reduction part will be compatible with the Lite and before I finished typing he sent me a cutaway view of the 16J plenum and then another for the new 16J Krait plenum which is being put into production to replace the current part of a 60cc plenum and reduction plug.
Once again AirMaks is listening to their customers and acting on the feedback which is really great to be part of.

My Prototype unit should be arriving with me on Friday!
Sadly I wont have much chance to poke it this weekend as I have entered myself in the Brook Valley PRS shoot on Sunday so I will be doing some content on the new rifle after that but it may sneak into stuff I do at the shoot;).
If anyone is going to the PRS shoot on Sunday and wants to take a look I am happy to sling it into the car (assuming it arrives on Friday as expected)

The Krait Lite production units arriving in a few weeks will be a world first, we are getting them even before the home Czech market does so again very cool stuff :cool:

I can put some pics up when she lands, as for targets and shot count, the prototype isn't coming with a production regulator or UK plenum so I could only give a rough guide of what it does, which will probably be lower than the production guns dont actually know what calibre or size she is yet I just know she is on the way!

Looking at a change from the katran C👍🏻
Just emailing BAG today and said he would ask Chris about time scales . Tough call on what colour laminate, I love them all. But edging to orange .177(pondering another .22 ). I’m literally 50/50 on caliber🤔

Yip had a call from Lee earlier today, not sure what sort of crazy person goes for Orange laminate tho... I mean I certainly didn't fit gun 002 with one and nickname it the tangerine terror.... :rolleyes:

Orange has always eluded me , until recently and really like it . Think I have most of the others , orange is worth doubling up on😎

If you are going to spend money on it, be bold is my view, the prototype when it lands will certainly be a statement piece if what arrives is what I have seen in the photos, one of a kind is definitely the key word for that one 😝
