And me unless it is that valve needs a severe kicking to close? Does the bottle need removing to fill if subsequently empties?

As far as filling the cylinder before fitting first time, i am informed it is to assist in bedding the seals in the cylinder as touched on by others in the thread. It's a really slow fill to about 50bar, leave for a couple minutes, then fill to 200,250 bar. Fit cylinder job done.

Love the look of these and if I was in the market for a HW100 I'd put the extra towards a laminate HW100X sporter
As it stands I can't see the point in changing my HW100S for one. I've never bothered upgrading my cylinder for shots as it's not an issue pesting. The weight saved from the lighter cylinder would be negated by the heavier laminate stock anyway, and I've not needed a higher cheek.
I'll wait for a Walnut version of the full length and then decide, but at nearly a £1000 outlay to upgrade from my HW100 for a few extra shots I doubt it will happen & I'll be waiting until there are some 2nd hand ones around

One other noticeable improvement: the trigger blade is slightly wider and feels much better against the finger. My other HW100 trigger tapers off too much so you feel the sharpness of the edge of the blade. Minor - but noticeable to me.

That looks lovely, I have always thought the HW100 is one of the best hunting rifles out there... this new one will be a great target gun with it's increased shot count...

Really liking the look of this new 100 from HW, and it addresses my biggest bug bear of many of the previous incarnations - the fugly cricket bat like stock.

I do have to get one, soon.
Had my HW100 KT Walnut and so pleased with it and it’s limited shot count for some time now, but don’t care when you have to pay for designed upgrades when available just like your car or laptop.
It’s the same but better, but we do know for most if not everything in life the Mk1 is better and this Mk2 though ticks the boxes will it be welcomed in years to come.
I would be put off buying if it does come with two safety catches on the walnut.

The walnut x KT are using the old stocks so just the safety on 1 side until the new kt stock's are being used , maybe the new walnut kt stock's will have mlok rail aswell

YES, they brought them out about 4 weeks after I'd just bought my HW100, buggers.
If I'd heard of a new one, I would have waited BUT I'm certainly not disappointed with what I bought.

What is the actual length of the M Lok, I'm curious to buy a M Lok to Picatinny rail that covers it totally (near exact size as the M Lok fitted) ?
