I've zeroed my zulus 3-12 which on default shoots high and right. Now the lrf box is lower to the left.

I'm using an FX Impact with a zero MOA rail (well it seems to be when using a spirit level) and a 20 MOA mount.

Would i be better off getting a 0 MOA mount or shimming (No idea where to even start with that or where to shim it) ?

Technically i can just zoom right out and LRF from there which keeps it quite close to the zero, zoomed in it moves quite a bit obviously.

So the question is basically do i get a 0 MOA mount, Shim it or live with it and adapt ?

Cheers

I have a ZB mount on my HW100 as I could not get the splash anywhere near where I wanted it I adjusted the Zulus x and y to coincide with the splash and then adjusted the ZB to zero the scope look it up on google it tells you how to mount the scope onto the ZB as it goes on back to front the mount that is not the scope lol it’s the same as an eagle vision mount

How high is that eventually going to end up sitting on the gun ?

That then the DNT mount then the zulus on top would end up pretty high.

I use adjustable mounts, set the x,y to zero and zero using adjustable mounts then finely tune with the scopes adjustable X,Y I find the splash box stays nearer to the centre of the crosshairs

Well i had a look at the ZB Mount and i'd have to use the Zulus mount too which would make it very high. Seems you can just use the ZB but i wouldn't get it far enough back on my Impact for me to use effectively.

What sort of adjustable mounts ? Would i face the same height issue ?

Also It does seem a lot of money to spend to move a tiny red box less than an inch lol
