Been to the farm today with my shottie and Ultra. Now I've owned this little MMC SS Ultra for a good few years now and if I'm honest it's very accurate, but unforgiving.
Been obviously very short, I do tend to struggle some days with accuracy, they require follow through for sure.
But today, wow, I was on it.
I'm not going into detail as this isn't the hunting section, but I achieved some bloody excellent shots today. Only 30 yards, but very memorable.
Sure you've all seen it before, but what the hell, here it is again

And for the power crazed, it's doing 10.3 to 10.7

Great little rifles

And yes it's one of those memorable rifles. I still remember some of the shots I made with it at a perm years ago.

We have moved on in some ways, but in others, for simplicity and deadly accuracy from a small rifle the MMC still holds up.

Ultras are just great little hunting tools, though as a bit of a gibbon I too struggled with the short stock on my first one. My current Ultra has the synthetic stock which helps a lot.

A fantastic little rifle the Ultra MMC! The first rifle I bought when I got back into air rifles after a very long break and PCPs were a new thing for me. Thought I was getting something far superior when I was tempted into buying a Daystate Air Ranger which was also a fantastic rifle but the Ultra got much more use for pesting duties and took a fair few greys and rabbits. Very accurate and so easy to carry around on long sessions. Infuriatingly, both the Ultra and the Ranger were nicked in a burglary. Would like to get another Ultra if the chance arises and also another Air Ranger but seldom see them on sale nowadays.
