I am definitely treating myself to a new gun. I cannot decide between the FX Dreamline Classic and the Daystate Huntsman Revere. They are both super guns. The Revere seems to be quite luxuriously finished while the FX is a bit more plain and workmanlike. Does anyone have an experience or a view that might help me make up my mind?

As above, handle them both and get the one you like the most, the one that fits you best. Only you can decide that, no-one else.

Or, get them both! Dancing banana:);)(y)
 
I’ve shot both but would probably pick the DS if you are only using the FX in Classic form.
Shoulder then both of you can, only way to be sure
 
I've owned a Dreamline and Regals.
I'd say the Daystates are better finished but nowt in it with accuracy

Not a massive fan of the mags on either, but Rowan do great single shot loaders for both
 
Just had a quick google, and based solely on looks (as I know nothing about guns!) I would go for the Daystate :)
 
I havent looked, but are they roughly the same price?
Would be a deciding factor for some
 
Need an EV mag if go FX as poor(if applicable ) . FX more flexible if want to change it around, be it tacticool or stock. Daystate is possibly one of the most pleasing on the eye pcp’s ever made for me. All subjective of course.
Shoulder both, I would sway huntsman myself (only owned the FX of the 2).

I've got Revere and GRS Dreamline. Not handled a classic. Handle a Revere they are small. I wouldn't have as my main benchrester.

At 30 and 40m they are as accurate as each other.

Both have very high mags. With FX get Carm mini or micro. I use micros to get the scope right down. Not sure you can with Reveve.
 
Purely on looks, the Daystate. Accuracy, not a lot of difference in either. Need to handle both to work out what fit you before parting with the hard earned. :)

Hi ugly beard I had the FX impact nothing but trouble I've now got a daystate MK4 in my opinion a thousand times better I've also got the s510 r and hw100 lol I wouldn't touch any FX now
