Pulled this from facebook, and it holds true for any sporting discipline where "equipment " is involved. .... experience , skill/ability and practice will always give greater benefits than the latest/greatest kit.

Fair play.

What is all the kit they usually have for pistol shooting?
A 'blind' for the non sighting eye (so you can keep it open - closing one eye dilates the pupil on the other side which reduces depth of field in that eye) and often a diopter over the shooting eye - a pin hole to look through again for DoF and focus benefits. Quite often a cap to shield from extraneous light from above.

Blinders, gloves, wrist supports etc, the point of the post, is that ability and practice will out Trump equipment everytime
No wrist supports in 10m. In theory you can wear a glove (no rule against it as far as i know) but not anything that does or might support the wrist - a wrist watch for example is a no, no and grips can not extend as far as the wrist for 10m pistols unlike free pistol where do extend back to the wrist.

With gloves they can not extend over the hand to the wrist (like everyday normal gloves) as the strap can (will) be used as a wrist support.

Also fitting the grip to be used with a glove would render it not a good fit if for whatever reason the shooter decides or for that competition can not use a glove.
Can't say i have ever noticed any 10m pistol shooters using a glove.

Quite common in Archery though.

If you watch enough 10m comp videos you will see a few like the Turkish fellow who are just natural shooters with the basic's covered to shoot.

Special flat soled shoes are also a thing that comply to a ruling standard or wear normal shoes/trainers.

I remember a 10m open competition in Bolton, think it would have been about 1985, anyway Laslo Antal turned up with the British pistol squad to compete as a training exercise, well a guy from Manchester who was a good shooter, but had not shot for a year or more out shot them all by good margin.

I watched the 10mtr target rifles the other day.

Extremely talented, except when they walked. I couldn’t believe the stiffness of the clothing. They walked like Tinman. Not kidding!

This Turkish bloke is a legend, is that a Snow Peak as well? 😂😂😂

Cheers chaps. Never watched Olympic shooting.

I'm more a tin of pellets with a spring rifle shooter. Bag rest if sat down. Don't do technical and kit. Pistol is fun though and started doing a bit of that recently. 1 hand hold at 10 meters is seriously hard 😳
