Ive used alsorts of fishing chairs and bucket bins, swivel seats over the years and never found an ideal chair, most broke due to me being quite big and heavy

What Ive used more than anything for airgun hunting for years has been a relatively cheap XL folding camping type chair my old man left me, its been great as it folds into a carry bag handy to just chuck in the motor, but its had its day now, and no longer available.

I want it to be lightweight to carry as I have a bad back also find most chairs too low, dont want to spend megabucks as Ive just ordered a new NV, so can anyone recommend a good fishing or camping chair at a reasonable price?

I use a folding camping type chair , I used to use a pale type but for longer times the old bones didn’t like it☹️🤣👍

I know the feeling bud I took my lad ratting a week ago and i couldnt get up out of the chair after a 2 hour sesh! It was blowing a cold wind though, but its at that point I said right this chair is going in the bin.

I use the passenger seat in my car.
Yup, the quarry at my permission is mostly rabbits, and 90% of it is done from the car.

If the bunnies see a human, they run and hide. . But they don't see a car as a threat.

You get comfy seats in cars.

That said I cant drive the fields when crops are in so I usually have all the hide decoys rifle and lunch to carry as well as a chair so has to be lightweight.

Seen some great shooting chairs avaible but the likes of those idleback chairs would be too big and heavy for me to hog accross the fields.

I have one of those its not big enough for me to be comfy tbh I need a xl chair.

Ive fixed my old folding one up tonight must be 25 year old seen its better days but so much easier to carry than framed chairs as it goes in a bag and sling it over my shoulder.

The same thing but aluminiun would be great but im still looking its hard to guess without sitting on then, ive bought fishing chairs that looked great on the pictures but one session and ive thought dam its not comfy but I do have 2 herniated discs.
