What a bargain

As far as I understand it, it's not a Sapphire Limited Edition. It's a Wolverine in a Sapphire stock and there's a difference even if they are also limited in number.
As mentioned above, the Sapphire LE isn’t a bottle gun and has what are presumably "sapphire" denotions etched onto the shroud.

Your quite correct nobody saying it's a limited edition they were a lot more expensive the one we are talking a bout is indeed a wolverine in a sapphire stock of which there was a limited number produced somewhere between 24-30 is what I have heard

When I bought mine new it was £350 cheaper than a red wolf and £200 more than a laminate wolverine and the adjustable cheek piece made all the difference and I'm not a fan of electronic triggers so I got the best of both guns in the sapphire
Fair point a lot of folk don’t get on with the thumb hole stock and the adjustable cheek piece fixes that. My mk1 fits me like a glove!

And yes £350 is a lot of money, you could get an AP900 with a scope for that money which is exactly what I’ve done 👍

This end her indoors pays enough attention to them she has a rough idea how many but doesn't know make and model detail so every rifle comes under the ive had that for years category.

A favourite from my Mrs regarding rifles is....' are you sure that's not new 🤔...I don't remember seeing that one before '

I keep telling people its fine to buy them you just need to go clandestine getting them in the house and tucked away in a safe place. Shred any evidence of packaging etc and you all good. If that fails the good old what? this one? nah ive had that for a few years love always gets you out of a tricky spot.

Rule 1: All gun cases look the same and nobody knows if they are empty or full when they come/go.

I’ll admit I have - for reasons I can’t quite explain in retrospect - largely ignored Daystate until recently, but on paper a UK based company building quality kit and pushing boundaries with regular new models and reasonable support deserves some respect.

Just seen this thread and it’s my gun that is in sales.
As mentioned it is not the full blown ltd edition Sapphire as they were all cylinder guns in the UK. I understand it is one of a small number of standard Wolverine R’s that were released with a Sapphire stock (probably to use up those left over from the ltd editions).
Still I thought it was well priced for a quick sale but a lot of nice kit seems to be hanging around at the moment.

Don't tempt me Mike... I'm too close for comfort 😔

Its a cracking price considering there's only 28 of them, this is only the second one ive actually seen for sale, the other was on guntrader and was a fair bit more wedge than your's.

Funnily enough i asked daystate a little while before the Sapphire was released if they had plans to release a wolverine with a sporter style stock and i got a resounding no from them 🤨

That is a lovely looking rifle, I'm just following the thread to see who will be the lucky new owner of this will be.
Wrong timing and a bit far away is my trouble, I have a S510R US to sell on as it's not getting any use, and then I could be looking to get something similar.
But you never know, the price of fuel may come down. 🤞👍😂

I dropped really lucky with this, I had seen the Sapphire Ltd Edition come out and asked my RFD if they were doing any bottle versions. About a week later I had a call to say they had 3 of these just in.

It's a beautiful rifle and I would love to have it, however, I love paying my mortgage and having food to eat even more🤣

Yes, I was tempted by it myself when I saw it which is why I know the difference now between the two versions. I looked before I leaped for once by doing some research. :ROFLMAO:

There's nowt wrong with the price but fortunately for me better sense prevailed from the financial and practical perspective. I'd be a total dumbass to, once again, buy a gun I don't need even, though I fancy a Wolverine and wouldn't be surprised if I don't own one one day.

Also, from a practical perspective, I'm one of those people who prefers thumbhole stocks, so a standard bottle version is what I should buy if I ever do.

At the weekend I'll probably be listing some nice, non-selling guns myself. As you say, very flat market but unless you bump yours, it'll disappear into the graveyard so I'd do that. I smell weakness in the water in this thread. :ROFLMAO: There's people in here whose resolve is bleeding out.

EDIT: Just seen you've done just that as I was typing this. :ROFLMAO: (y)

I was tempted by this one but postage was not an option.

I'm in the opposite boat and trying to buy a rifle but can't find anyone willing to sell... Or at least for fair money.
