So about 3 weeks ago holts came to my attention and I discovered how easy it was to make a bid, fast forward to today and I won the 2 lots I bid on, I could see this becoming a problem

Some are horrific! One auction I saw was 38% fees on top of the hammer, then 3rd party packaging at £15 plus RFD shipping at £35 plus whatever the receiving RFD wanted to charge!! And in the same auction a second hand Wheirach Break barrel made almost the same price as new ones were advertised for! Insane!!

Auctions are great. Getting the stuff delivered is not so great. If you are unlucky/not careful, delivery can cost enough that it is no longer a bargain purchase. If the item is cheap, delivery can cost more than the item itself.

Holts have a calculator shows the over all cost, handy make the bid based on that.

Auctions are great! If you live within driving distance... what with the RFD and delivery fees ontop of the auction ones.
