Veyron Scopes Advice Sought

I have got an AP900 and a Mito carbine, both for back garden plinking, pest control and a bit of target shooting. I have a Bugbuster, which is brilliant at short ranges and for plinking, except… the reticle is too thick for (for me) shooting targets at 22 yards. I fancy the Veyron 10x30 SFP that goes down to 6 yards, or maybe the 10x44 SFP which is a little cheaper, but only focuses down to 10 yards. Can anyone give me some hands on based feedback on the two Veyrons. Can the 10x44 be tweaked to go down to 5-6 yards?

I had a 10 x 44 for a bit before I let @Gummage have it and I'm sure it focused to well under 10 yards but I hope as I have tagged him he can confirm this ?
