Looking for opinions on compact air rifles for vermin control, so many about and cannot decide.

Yup, a lot of it comes down to budget and type of vermin unless you want an all rounder.. tell us more brother, I only hunt, nearly always with a pcp, but a nice 97k is still adequate if it’s not for rats.. weight shouldn’t make a difference unless you’re stalking.. length isn’t really an issue either unless stalking barns or woods.. as our Dr.b says, the air rifle is at its most deadly when used in ambush..
on a bog deathgrip tripod I’m happy to wait all day long in ambush with a pcp clamped pointing in the right direction while I scan my surroundings and sup coffee.. alas yes pcp is the preferred but springer is pick up n go..✔️

A regged Bsa R10 extra carbine is pretty much the same length as an unregged Ultra Clx but a lump heavier.. an Hw110 sits between those in weight and just a tad longer.. some quality rifles will do the job great, as can some budget rifles too..

I’ve had an air arms s400 for years.
I put a rowan engineering mag on it for pest control and single load at the range
Absolutely faultless and not been touched since new 10 years ago
Same here, my s400 carbine has been super clinical with 60 shots per fill. Apart from cleaning the hammer rail about 6 years ago, my pre-antitamper/pre-safety s400 has been faultless. My cheap springer done the business around farmyards as well though, so it's what you need it for and budget that will sway your choice really...👍
