Hi folks, bit of help please, the butt pad on this s510 doesn’t appear to have an access to screws to remove it. I’d like to fit a Rowan adjustable plate but can’t see how to do this.
It’s a new gun to me so it may have had an aftermarket pad fitted, it’s 2010 according to the cylinder.
I thank you

Probe around these areas carefully first to find the openings, then insert lubricated screwdriver (probably a Philips or pozidrive number 2) reduced diameter shank if you have one. Carefully rotate anticlockwise until you feel it drop into the head then just undo carefully.

I’m not sure that will be the screw type but most likely.

That makes sense from my internet search, I’ll do some discreet probing tomorrow in the daylight! Thanks

The sleuth in me thinks there may be openings at each end of the rectangle carrying the logo. Maybe investigate carefully with a thin bladed lubricated screwdriver? torx, hex, or cross head 🤔?
That was my initial thought as well, but the screws would be too close together and it doesn’t appear to be a plug 😕

If its anything like my tx200 stock then I had to poke holes in it to get to the screw heads. Theyre in roughly the same location as posted above. Didn't matter to me because I was replacing it anyway.

I have to agree with the posts above relating to the probable positioning of mounting screws and the best way to reach them. However, is it only me with a smirk on my face reading the title of this post or is it because I’m just a naughty schoolboy at heart? 😜🤣🤣🤓

Ta, I’ve found them now! They were tiny slits invisible to the human eye 😂 once located then a slippery screwdriver worked. Worst comes to worst I could have replaced it. It’s a neat if confusing solution to fixing the pad!

I went poking about for slits this morning, a bit of lube and in I slid 😂

Oh good, It’s not just me then with the naughty schoolboy level of humour, can’t resist a good fart gag either 😂🤣😆🤓
