Chaps,
Some of you guys may be interested in the below, quick review of a recent VA purchase.
Recently purchased a Vector Optics 3x18x44 FFP Orion from Vector Air and I have to say im very impressed for the money.
Nice clear glass, decent reticle, good turret adjustment and fantastic value for money at just over £160 delivered from Vector air after applying the AAR discount code.
As a comparison against my Element Helix I would say the VA is 90% as good, the element has better turret adjustment "feel" but the VA still adjusts lovely, and the zero set stop is a bit less fiddly.
In summary a cracking scope for the money, would I buy another, absolutely, would I buy another element at more than double the price?
Absolutely not at the moment but I guess time will tell on longevity, the Orion seems to be just as well built so I can't see why it shouldn't.
