TX200 Trigger

The length of the sear is a bit of a red herring.

If the stage screws on the CD were set like this, there would be a huge gain in leverage:

The mass of the lower sear is also a bit of a red herring, I can guarantee having owned a Mach 1 trigger equipped Venom rifle, that the CD in my TX above is the equal of that Mach 1.
Yet Another reason I need to get a mill🤣

Just to throw my 2 pence in, I recently installed the Rowan straight set back trigger and I have found it to be a huge improvement

Everyone always talks about the adjustable Rowan but the straight blade gets no love

The venom blade looks very nice in the tx👍
Rare id imagine doubt id ever get hold of one.

The lower main sear looks longer on the mach1 compared to the cd so obviously more room to shunt the pivot forward, beautiful workmanship, the 'unsprung' weight of the lower main sear will be less too as its thinner, less mass less force to move it😎

There is a few mm left in the cd to gain by the looks of it🤔 one of my cds is hovering around 10 oz after a polish up,so lord knows how much more could be shaved with a shift in pivot point!!
You can get the factory set up lower than 10 oz. After a polish and lube I can get my triggers down to 4 oz. Even a bit under, but the 1st stage starts to dangle at that point. 😁
